If you want to carry out a rapid scan of your PC, click on Scan. This will start a quick scan using the latest generation technologies.
If you want to carry out an exhaustive scan of your PC, click on Other scans > Scan all your computer.
If you only want to scan your documents, click on Other scans > Scan My documents.
If you only want to scan your e-mail, click on Other scans > Mail scan.
If you want to scan a specific file or folder, click on Other scans > Scan other items. In the dialog box that appears, select the directory or folder you want to scan and click on OK.
If you use the option Scan now, your computer will be scanned in just a few minutes.
If you carry out a full scan of your PC (Other scans > Scan all your computer) the scan will depend on the amount of data stored on your hard disk and the speed of your PC.
